On 13th July 2015 the relic of St. Faustina of Poland was placed at St. Mary's

 

Cathedral in Batticaloa, by His Lordship Most. Rev. Bishop Joseph Ponniah, the

 

Bishop of Batticaloa.

 

The Bishop himself went to a good-will visit to Poland from 11th to 19th of June.

 

This is the first relic of St. Faustina in Sri Lanka.
