On 04th June 2017 the Annual Church Feast of Catholic Community of Rome South - Infernetto was held celebrating Our lady of Madhu. 

The Solemn High Festive Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Metropolitan Archbishop of Colombo, and co-celebrated by Very Rev. Msgr. Neville Joe Perera and Very Rev. Fr. Pierpaolo Felicolo, Diocesan Director for Migrants of the Diocese of Rome. Very Rev. Fr. Damian Fernando, Vicar General for the Diocese of Ratnapura and Very Rev. Fr.Jude Samantha Fernando, Procurator General for the Archdiocese of Colombo along with several other priests partecipated at the feast too.

On this occasion fifteen children received the Sacrament of Holy Confirmation.

In his homily Malcolm Card. Ranjith invited the parents to teach their children the value of Family life as a Sacrament in Christ.

"The vocation of the family is to reach the Sainthood" Cardinal said.

Later Most Rev Dr. Paolo Lojudice, Auxiliary Bishop for the southern region of the Diocese of Rome joined the Feast.

At the end, Rt Rev. Msgr. Neville Joe Perera thanked Rev Fr Saman Maximus and the organizers.
