On 29th May 2016 the Church Feast of Catholic Community of Rome South - Infernetto was held celebrating Holy Mary. 

The Solemn High Festive Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Metropolitan Archbishop of Colombo, anc co-celebrated by Very Rev. Msgr. Neville Joe Perera and Very Rev. Fr. Basil Fernando, National Director PMS. Several other priests partecipated at the feast.

On this occasion six children received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the very first time.

"The prayer of Holy Rosary with this Important Sacrament (Holy Communion) is an essential part of our life" Cardinal Ranjith said.

"Everyone focuses on the Sacrament of Holy Communion, what about the Sacrament of Confession which you received yesterday for the first time? that is a great gift too" Cardinal concluded.

Very Rev. Monsignor Neville Perera informed publicly of several new appointments for Milano Bologna  and Napoli South chaplaincies and about the new Assistant Parish priests for Infernetto.
